If you want something new on your photo profile, for example in facebook, twitter, Yahoo or even Google +, you can convert your photo to a cartoon by utilize photoshop's features. This is photoshop cs2 that you can use to convert that photo. However you will need a photo that have good resolution to get maximal result.
Features that will be used in photoshop cs2 are poster edge, layer, effect layer. Those features are not standard, you can also use other features. Since slightly need experiment to get appropriate result.
Actually there are many features in photoshop cs2 which can be used to make photo as cartoon. That feature will create unique scratches of cartoon according to your wish. If you don’t like the result, you can do undo, or does experiment from the beginning with variably method.
However the result may be not as one of your ordinary see at pro creation. Since more complex touch and professional makes cartoon become greater. But at least you will study process, and can try to do experiment more professional again. The feature which will be used as more complicated.
Don't worry if its result not as you wants. If the problem caused by its photo. Therefore you can get experiment by using another photo, since will give different result.
A. Edit photo with Poster Edge feature.
Open Photo which will be converted as cartoon. Then go to Filter>Artistic>Poster Edges. Fill in following number:
Edge Thickness = 10, Edge Intensity = 4, Posterization = 0, or you can get experiment by change that number according your wish. You can see the result in preview screen.
B. Edit photo with Film Grain feature.
Don't press OK switch, now select New Effect Layer which lies under icon's dustbin, then chooses Film grain on selection menu.
Then fill number as follows:
Grain = 0, Highlight Area = 11, Intensity = 10, or change according to your wish. If you like more color, that number is not default.
C. Edit photo with Cutout feature.
Click for new effect layer again, then select cutout
Then fill following number
Number of is Level = 8, Edge Simplicity = 4, Edge Fidelity = 3, or see on preview and change as your wish.
D. Clean up photo with Brush Tool feature.
On last phase, we will trim up any line with Brush Tool (B ) to take our color samples use EyeDropper Tool (I. ), use appropriate its color … take example by its cloth color, use eyedropper tool then click on color cloth, then chooses Brush Tool and Inscribes to accord same color … and so on
E. Change the background.
You can add background or just as the origin. This result that I gets after processed. Just few well-nigh equal to photograph in origin, this is still standard and still can be compounded by another feature.
